I would like to extend my gratitude to the committee of Border Union for giving me the honour to judge this show. This show ground has to be one of the best. The weather was gorgeous the hospitality was fantastic. Thank you to all the exhibitors for the wonderful entry. A big improvement on size coming down, also the canine problem has decreased so that's a good thing, sadly bad fronts are creeping back into the ring!

Red and white, 8 months old, good head with fill and turn. Good for size. Would prefer shorter back, elbows need to tighten up, good bone and substance. Mouth ok. Moved better behind as the front movement pinned in.

Solid red, 1 year old, very masculine head well filled and turned. Good expression, good mouth, straight front tight feet, a little underweight due to an operation the previous week. Top size, well balanced moved ok. 2nd GIFFENBULL STONE ROSES (MR & MISS J & K BARR)
Red and white litter mate to puppy dog winner. Of very similar type to his brother, but with a shorter back. Lovely filled head, front could be better, good bone and substance Mouth ok, a bit erratic moving

Up to size brindle and white. 5 years old. Super head filled and turned with good expression, ears bang on top. Mouth just slightly off, Good length of neck, getting to be a tad wide in front now, deep chest, good bone and substance, well balanced, moved with drive. Deserved his crown on the day. DCC
2nd IR CH COXGAL LORD MONTY (MR & MRS G & L COX)
Good for size brindle and white. 2½ years old. Good head with fill and turn, very typy mini. Good mouth. Not feeling 100% but nevertheless showed himself. Well balanced, moved ok RDCC

1 years old tricolour, up to height, what a showgirl she just never stops showing. Beautiful head filled and turned, perfect mouth, ears bang on top, good expression, very feminine throughout. Swan like neck, good lay of shoulder straight front, tight feet, well balanced. Good bend of stifle moved with drive and purpose. To be hypercritical would prefer shorter back. Well deserved her BCC BOB

15 months old, black brindle and white. Good for size, beautiful head, well placed ears. Mouth ok. Very feminine, good bone and substance, does need to tighten up on her pasterns, Feet could be better, moved ok
