I would like to thank the Miniature Bull Terrier Club for the invitation to judge their Championship Show which is a very special honour. My thanks go to the exhibitors for entering and bringing their minis for me to judge. I was so pleased with my super entry. The Club put on a tremendous show and there was a very positive buzz and great sportsmanship on the day.
It has been some years since I last judged the breed at this level and I have to say that today there is a great deal more consistency within the breed regarding size and type which is reflected in my critique, all of which hopefully bodes well for the future.

Black brindle and white 11 month old. Long sweeping head, with small dark eye and ears bang on top. Mouth perfect. Long elegant neck into well laid shoulders. Straight front. Good bend of stifle. Would like shorter coupled. Moved well both ways. He is very immature, but he is only a puppy. Showed well.
2nd TINYBULL’S IGGY POP (ATCAY45121SWE) (MRS A ODELL)
Brindle and white 10 month old puppy dog. Well under the measure. His head is filled right up with sloping profile. Super expression and small well placed ears. Short coupled with good spring of ribs. Well bent stifles. He is short in upper arm. On the move he toed in at the front and moved well behind.

White puppy dog 10 months old. Head filled with sloping profile. Straight front. Level topline. Moved OK. Unfortunately, hard to access as he needs more show training.

Dark brindle and white. Long sweeping head filled but would like smoother downface. Small dark eye and ears bang on top. Mouth good. Shade long in the body. Topline good. Good front. Would like to see more bend of stifle. Moved true in front and a little close behind.

Red and white boy who was very excitable and this made him hard to assess. Super head with fill and downface. Mouth fault. Small well placed eyes and good ear placement. Straight front with cat feet. Well sprung ribs. Lost his topline on the move. Front movement good and a little close behind.

Small dark brindle with true mini type. Head filled with fill. Good expression and small neat ears. Mouth perfect. Good front and cat feet. Short coupled. Strong rear quarters. She was hard to access as all she wanted to do was kiss me or roll on her back for cuddles. She is only a baby but look forward to seeing her when she matures.
