It was a proud moment and a privilege to be asked to judge the Miniature Bull Terrier club open show. The venue is excellent and the committee do a first class job of decorating the hall and putting on a very professional show but yet still manage to make it a people friendly event. For me the mix of dogs and the the contrast of weathered and novice handlers is what makes the show scene. There were top quality dogs and bitches that went unrewarded and that's the down side to judging. Thankfully there were no dogs with exaggerated profiles and for the vast majority temperaments were sound, so a big thank you to all exhibitors and committee, the club is a credit to all.

Well marked brindle with good make and shape throughout and carrying good bone. Head is long and strong with no exaggeration and correct bite. Moved with good drive for a youngster and handled with thought and purpose. BP
2nd LAFENICE TUDOR BY DUVESSA NAF TAF (MRS D VICKERS)
Well marked brindle, and true mini with excellent bone. Very good front, long head with gentle profile and correct mouth. Very good eye and ear, and moved very well.

Typy brindle with good make and shape, elegant neck into good length of head which as good fill. Ear and eye well placed but mouth fault. Tidy feet that would be made better with shorter nails. When settled he moved well.

Brindle in great condition. Well made throughout with strong front and just enough bone. Long head with just enough fill with ear and eye giving keen expression. Front movement better than rear.
2nd DUCASSOS COEUR DE LION (MR & MRS P & M CSERAFALVIA –YOUNG)
Cobby well boned white with red ear and eye. Power packed head with good ear and eye and mouth correct. Although compact he has slight dip behind shoulder and slightly high tail set. Covers the ground well with very good rear movement and well handled.

Classical bully head, that has length and fill with gentle profile, good ear, eye and mouth. Just an inch to long. Expertly handled. RBD

Well marked brindle with good make and shape and balance. Carries just enough bone. Head has good length with well shaped eye and near ears but handler needs to find a way of getting him to use them more often. Mouth correct. Moves very well.

Powerful masculine solid in hard condition with good definition and well made throughout, with enough bone. Feet could be tidier. Strong long neck with very powerful head which has depth and fill with gentle profile and correct mouth. Small well placed ears but eye a touch kind. He has excellent movement and was handled to perfection. BD & BIS

White with excellent bone. Head has length and strength with gentle profile, nice shaped eye and very good ear placement. Mouth just off. Moves with drive but slight dip behind shoulder spoils overall picture.

A couple of inches to long but her movement is good and top line stays level. The young lady handling did a totally professional job and is a credit to the breed.
