Thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge at this prestigious show and to my cheerful and efficient stewards Colin and Mick. Thanks to the exhibitors for showing their lovely minis under me. We still have a few problems with instanding canines, but as Raymond Oppenheimer said, you put them up for virtues and not down for their faults and this is never more true than in minis.

1st BULLYON REDEFINING THE MEASURE WITH KHLOLANDER (MS A A O’NEILL)
Gorgeous 9 month old, red and white, chunky chap. Lovely filled head, good mouth, good ear and eye placement, decent front, correct topline and nicely balanced. Strong quarters with good second thigh. Moved fairly well. Should have a very bright future, will watch with interest. BP

Smart brindle and white. Power packed head, good mouth, decent front, strong round body, soft in topline but nicely balanced all through. Good for size. Moved fairly well both ways.
2nd AURMARU HOMEWARD BOUND (MR D J RATCLIFF)
Charming white with black ears, nicely filled head, without the power of first, correct mouth. Decent front, little long in back, well muscled quarters. Moved well in front, a little close behind.

Handsome white with black head mark. Completely filled head with good width. Slight mouth fault. A little over the measure. Straight front, good round bone, well made, stood square with deep chest and strong quarters. Moved well.

Powerful black brindle and white a tad bigger than first. Strong head with arc and fill. Incisors correct but has instanding canines. Straight front, heavy bone, deep chest, well made all through and in tip top condition. Well handled. Moved freely both ways.

Attractive 7 month old brindle and white strong head with good fill, one instanding canine, good ear and eye placement and nicely marked. Decent front with good bone, a tad long in back. Moved fairly well.

Small typy brindle and white strong head with arc and fill. Good ear and eye placement, correct mouth. Straight front, good bone, topline needs to tighten, which should happen as she muscles up. Strong quarters and moved well, handler got the most out of her.
2nd SHACALS FOXY LADY (MR & MRS C & S PREDDY)
Compact red and white, head is filled with good profile, good ear and eye placement, one instanding canine, decent front and nicely balanced with good bend of stifle and good for size. Moved well.

Dark brindle and white, almost solid. Well filled head with sweeping profile and good turndown. Correct mouth. Good shape eyes, ears could be more on top. Straight front, very well constructed with good topline and bend of stifle. On the larger size. Moved well.

Elegant white, head is filled and turned, one instanding canine, well placed ears and with the wickedest eye and expression. Enough reach of neck, straight front, although a little oversize, she is well balanced all through. Strong quarters, good tail set, moved freely although a little close RBCC
2nd QUAYARDSON LADY GINNY (MR & MRS C HULL)
Pretty white with nicely filled head, small eye, slight mouth fault. Good reach of neck. Decent front, good bone and neat feet, strong quarters. Moved a bit close.

Larger type black brindle and white strong filled head, correct mouth, straight front, good topline and well balanced all through. Did not make the most of herself. Moved fairly well.

Outstanding, brindle and white, good for size, beautiful filled head with exceptional profile and turn down. I don’t usually use the word “perfect” for teeth, but she really has perfect dentition. Good ear and eye placement. Straight front, good spring of rib, shapely body and strong quarters. Moved well front and rear with purpose. She is the full package and I was delighted to award her BOB & CC which makes her up to a UK Champion, subject to KC approval. BCC BOB
