Thank you to the Committee of the SMBTC for inviting me to judge their Open Show. Thank you to the very sporting exhibitors from home and abroad. I really enjoyed the honour of judging your mini bulls. There was a very happy and friendly atmosphere throughout the day. I also enjoyed the additional responsibility of mentoring a trainee judge Simon Burton.and commend the Committee for this forward thinking initiative.

Solid brindle dog, head well filled with downface. Mouth incorrect. Strong muscular neck into well placed shoulders. Straight front with cat feet, well sprung ribs and deep chest. Strong bone throughout. Moved well both ways.

Eleven month old black brindle and white dog. Strong filled head with good eye placement and super expression and he carries his ears bang on top. Balanced throughout with long elegant neck into well placed shoulders. Straight front with tight cat feet. Well bent stifle. Held his topline on the move. Moved well. Promising puppy. RBD & BP.
2ND ARCAZY MR BRIGHTSIDE (MS & MISSES S & D & K KEDGE & WILES)
Eight months old brindle and white dog. Strong head with nice profile, mouth perfect. Small dark eye and ears held correctly. Straight front with round bone though out. Up on his toes, well developed deep chest. Well placed shoulders and a good bend of stifle. Moved well.

1st BULLYON BLACKHEART MEASURE (MR & MRS MB PHILLIPS)
Eight month old black brindle and white dog. On the measure, mature for his age. Filled up head, small well placed eye giving good expression. Mouth perfect. Long muscular neck and short cobby body. Plenty of bone and substance. A shade upright in shoulder Well bent stifles. Moved a little wide in front but well behind.

Very nice black brindle and white dog. Strong filled head with gentle profile. Well placed eyes with a good expression. Mouth perfect. Short coupled body with long neck into well placed shoulders. Straight front with deep chest. Good rear angulation with well developed second thigh. Moved well both ways.

Three and a half years old brindle and white dog that caught my eye when he entered the ring. Just over the measure. Well filled head with gentle arcing profile. Small dark eyes and ears bang on top. Mouth off. Well balanced throughout with short coupled body and well sprung ribs. Deep gun barrel chest. Straight front. Would like more rear angulation. Moved well coming and close behind. BD & BOS
2nd QUAYARDSON SIR BERTIE (MRS & MS S & J RICHARDSON)
Sixteen months old solid brindle dog. Super head filled bang up under the eyes and excellent downface. Perfect mouth. Good expression and carries his ears bang on top. Plenty of strong round bone. Deep chest with straight front and tight cat feet. Well sprung ribs and level topline which he held on the move. In hard condition and moved well. Disinterested and did not seem in best form today.

1st CH DECADANCE DANDY LION (MR & MRS D DANCE)
Ten and a half year old white dog. I would like to say well done to his owners as except for the lack of teeth he looked every bit as good as when I previously judged and awarded him the RCC at Crufts nine years ago. Beautiful head with power and downface. Small dark eyes and ears bang on top. Well balanced throughout. Straight front with deep chest. Long neck into well placed shoulders. Well sprung ribs. Moved well in front and close behind. Best Veteran in Show.
2nd SHERMAN AISBORNE DORI (MRS Z PLJEVALJCIC)
Nine year old pretty white bitch in excellent condition. Correct size. Feminine head but would like to see more profile. Mouth perfect and good expression, ears bang on top. Short coupled body balanced throughout. Straight front and well up on her pasterns. Level topline and well bent stifles. Moved well and showed really well.

White bitch with eye patch. Pretty head with downface but would like to see more profile. Mouth correct. Well placed ears and eyes. Straight front with round bone. Good lay of shoulder. Short coupled with well sprung ribs. Well angulated quarters with second thigh. Moved well and showed non stop.

Ten and a half month old solid black brindle bitch. Feminine head with fill. Good expression and ears bang on top. Stood straight at the front with well placed shoulders. Plenty of bone throughout. Level topline and well sprung ribs. Moved good in front and a little close behind.
2nd ARCAZY MAGGIE MAY (MS & MISSES S & D & K KEDGE & WILES)
Pretty ten month old brindle and white bitch who did not make the most of herself (I believe she had recently recovered from an operation). Well filled head with profile. Eye well placed and when she used them correct ear placement. Straight front with good depth of chest. Long elegant neck into well laid shoulders. Level topline with good rear angulation. Moved well. Longer cast then one.

Pretty white bitch with red ear. Feminine head with gentle arcing profile, a shade more fill would complete the picture. Small dark well placed eyes and ears bang on top. Perfect mouth. Overall very well balanced. Straight front with strong round bone and tight cat feet. Elegant neck into well placed shoulders. Good spring of ribs. Well muscled throughtout. Well let down stifles. Moved well.
2nd DECADANCE DIAMANTE AT AURMARU (MR & MRS D & C MILLS)
Another pretty white bitch with strong head and gentle arcing profile. Good expression and ears bang on substantial with strong round bone. Straight front with deep chest. Good spring of ribs and level topline. Well angulated rear. Moved well in front and a shade close behind. Lost out to 1 on movement.

Very pretty brindle and white bitch. Lovely filled head with arcing profile. Good expression and carried ears bang on top. Mouth perfect with a deep underjaw. Balanced throughout. Stood straight on front and gun barrel chest. Elegant neck into a good lay of shoulder. Moved well. Unfortunately well over the measure which goes against her when challenging for top honours.
2ND REBEL SPIRIT FULL CIRCLE (MRS Z PLJEVALJCIC)
White bitch with feminine head which would benefit from more fill. Perfect mouth and small dark eye. Very well made with good front leading into cat feet. Short coupled with level topline. Good rear angulation with second thigh. Moved well both ways. Never stopped showing for her handler.
