DCC    TRANSCEND FESTIVAL FLUTTER WITH INDIZAK (MRS N & MISS I M JONES)

RDCC  DUVESSA CODE RED MARGINS (MR N L & MRS M BARRETT)

BCC   DECADANCE DRAGON FLY (MR & MRS D DANCE)

RBCC WENGORMICK PETITE LADY (MRS W & MISS K WHITTAKER)

BOB  TRANSCEND FESTIVAL FLUTTER WITH INDIZAK (MRS N & MISS I M JONES)

BP    SEAYESS TARTAN MOON (MRS C STEPHENS)

As this show is off the beaten track I'd forgotten what an attractive venue it is, only a stone's throw from the market town centre of Kelso. I was pleased with the entry & turnout & the weather kindly held off for the duration. Overall quality was good, although even though the new PLL blood test is now available I would urge breeders not to sacrifice make, shape & balance on the altar of size. Shorter forelegs, poor shoulders & toplines may help them fit under the measure but does nothing for overall balance & construction.

1st DECADANCE DEFENDER (MR M DODWELL)
Upstanding black brindle & white, very typy with good clean head with width, fill & finish, good expression, a little more arc would complete the picture. Would like better shoulder & rear action, needing more drive but handsome masculine dog with good bone & substance.

Close call between 1 & 2
1st DUVESSA CODE RED MARGINS (MR N L & MRS M BARRETT)
Took class quality, lovely classical head & punishing expression. Incisors correct although one canine is misplaced & the other tight. Moved adequately behind & has decent topline & shapely quarters. RCC
2nd EDGAR WILDE FROM DUVESSA (MRS D VICKERS)
More mature white with lovely head in profile, although a little 'cheeky' front on. Good expression & level bite, although teeth rather stained. Good front although moved adequately, needing a bit more drive

Puppy Bitch Entries: 2 Absentees: 1
1st BELLALU BLONDE MOMENT (MISS L SHARP)
Very attractive 8 months red & white, lovely feminine head with excellent well arched profile & good expression. Girlish wriggling made it difficult to assess mouth & needs little more width of muzzle. Upstanding & moved very well behind, just needing bit more substance.

Junior Bitch Entries: 4 Absentees: 0
1st BADLESMERE BID FOR GOLD WITH CAJUMA (MRS J A LAWRENCE)
Very typy & smart red & white, good flowing lines, moving well, good head & expression, correct mouth. Just refusing to make the best of herself, concentrated effort should really pay dividends
2nd SEAQUEST WARRIOR MAIDEN (MR M & MISS J JARVIS & THORNLEY)
Very attractive & shapely white, very well handled, showing a storm throughout. Good feminine head & good expression but both canines misplaced. Well balanced, moving with relentless self-importance, only a needing a little more drive co complete the picture.
3rd JUBILEE OF VELVET SPINE [ATC AL00917BEL] (MRS M RAABE FINIS)
Res RAMBLING ROSE OF GRANDDACH (MR C & MRS M A GRANT)

Post Graduate Bitch Entries: 4 Absentees: 1

1st DUVESSA DEVIL WEARS PRADA (MRS D VICKERS)
Quality solid brindle, good head & expression, substantial with good front & feet. Little long in back. Good bend of stifle. Moving well both ways although refusing to make the best of herself.
2nd BADLESMERE BID FOR GOLD WITH CAJUMA (MRS J A LAWRENCE)

3rd ERENDEN MISS JUDGED (MR & MRS S BOYNE)

Limit Bitch Entries: 3 Absentees: 1
1st DECADANCE DRAGON FLY (MR & MRS D DANCE)
Classical white, beautiful head having width, fill, finish & lovely expression. Although would like better shoulder handler did an excellent job & had her showing beautifully throughout, taking the class on movement both ways. CC
2nd GLENMORANGIE OF CALIBER (MR & MRS W LAMBERT)
Very good quality & typy white, lovely head & expression. Another one showing beautifully making it a tough call standing but even in the hands of another quality handler, her lovely bitch lost out to I on the move both ways.

Open Bitch Entries: 5 Absentees: 3
1st WENGORMICK PETITE LADY (MRS W & MISS K WHITTAKER)
Very typy white, good front, strong head with width, fill & good expression, lovely bone & substance, very shapely with powerful quarters, lovely bend of stifle, moving well both ways. Although she showed very well in her class & in close contention for CC, she went a little off the boil in challenge, just tipping the scales against her. RCC
2nd SEAYESS TARTAN MIST (MRS C STEPHENS)
Attractive white, adequate head needing a little more width & fill but great varminty expression. Although a bit long & would like more bone she has shapely quarters & really used backend to illustrate the best drive of them all.
