Thank you for the invitation to judge miniature bull terriers at your Spring open show. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and was pleased with the entry having many very nice specimens of the breed. I was pleased to see that my final BOB, BOS and two runner-ups were all worthy of CCs. Thank you to the exhibitors for your entries and the sporting manner in which you took my decisions; especially as minibulls are a breed that judges often have very differing opinions.

1st AMINIRUMPUS IMLIKKLEPANDA (MR MS MR & MISS J L J & S SAINSBURY STILL KOCABA & WHITE)
6 month old white with two black eye patches puppy with an abundance of bone and substance. Strong head with good profile with fill and turn, mouth incorrect. Well laid shoulders yielding a good forechest, nice feet, level topline, good set on of tail. Movement ok, but still very entertainingly naughty.

Showy 14 month old all white male with super expression, small ears, enough profile and a correct mouth. Short coupled with good lay of shoulders, tight feet, well bent stifles which helped him move with drive and parallel when viewed from behind. BD RBOB BOS
2nd AMINIRUMPUS IMLIKKLESHARK (MR MRS MR & MISS E J & S BULLEN KOCABA & WHITE)
6 month old white with black eye. Nice profile with correct incisors and small well placed ears. Substantial fellow with excellent bone. His front assembly needs to tighten and straighten up, but he’s still just a pup. Outgoing, happy little chap.

1st CHATTANOOBA CHOO CHOO AEDESTAURUM (MR J HARPER)
Excellent quality solid red dog. Sweeping profile with correct bite. To be picky, would like a little more depth to his head. Balanced throughout with good shoulders, level topline, good hind angulation. Moved parallel coming and going. A dog that was pushing hard for top honours.
2nd NOBODY THE WARRIOR (ATCAU02919DEU) (MRS D BROMMONT-LOTHARY)
Tremendous headed white dog whom I have long admired but on the day was underweight causing him to look unbalanced and a bit top heavy. Stonking, power packed head with turned profile and a perfect mouth. Moved well.
3rd BULLINVICTUS APOLLO (ATCAV01963POL) (MRS & MR K & A STRYSZAK)
solid red 20 month old dog. Nice head with good bite, could use a little more fill. Short coupled with good lay back of shoulders and correct tail placement. Unhappy on the day causing him to stand roached.

Super 6 year old white dog with brindle eye patches. Looking his age. Long head with correct bite, could use a little more fill. Compactly built with good front and rear angulations, super mover. Well handled.

Outstanding, virtuous mature beauty. 8 ½ year old brindle and white bitch in shining condition. Long head with excellent profile and ok mouth. Well angled shoulders and correct bend of stifle. Moved close behind, parallel coming, holding a level topline. BV BB BOB BIS
2nd LAFENICE TAMINO OF CALIBER (MS & MR & MRS A & W & C PEACHER & LAMBERT)
Cobby, substantial brindle & white. Nice headpiece with good bite. Happy, bouncy pensioner of 7 years. Moved with a swagger in his step, better coming than going.
3rd BYZANTINE MODESTY BLAISE (MRS J A PEAKIN)
A charming black brindle & white older lady of 14 years. She was in good condition for her age and moved cleanly, covering the ground with ease.

White with coloured ear, nice arcing profile with good width, well placed ears, super expression. While there was a lot to like about this girl, her shoulders and shortness in upper arm stopped her today from higher honours. She moved with drive.

White compact bitch with a powerful, short head, mouth ok, eye a bit bold. Good hind angulation, needs a bit more lay back on shoulders. Moved well both ways.
3rd ATAIN LIGHT MEASURE OF CALIBER (MR & MRS W & C LAMBERT)
White bitch with a lot of ticking in her coat. Decent profile, mouth ok, tight feet.
