WEST OF ENGLAND BULL TERRIER CLUB 16/6/2013
JUDGE ANDREW BRACE

Junior Dog Entries: 2 Absentees: 0
1st PLUMLEY & WORKMAN’S DEBULLY’S DANNY BOY
9 months white well up to size but has so much quality, balance and such clean lines. Beautiful head, well filled with pleasing profile, well set ears, neat eye and perfect bite. Plenty of bone and substance, very well ribbed, already well developed forechest, firm topline, optimum angulation, moves steadily behind, has great carriage and deportment in profile but is a bit bossy coming on. Still his overall merit took him through to BOB and later BOS in show.
2nd HUGHES’ GRAYMOR GIFTED HEIR
17 months brindle whose size I preferred, quality head, correct bite, enough bone for his size and good overall balance but not as firm in topline as 1, not using his tail and even wider in front.

Post Graduate  Dog Entries: 1 Absentees: 1

Open Dog Entries: 2 Absentees: 1
1st HUGHES’ GRAYMOR GALLANTRY
17 months brindle who didn't really do himself justice on the move, tending to scrabble, but I saw sufficient to conclude that he is capable of moving very well behind but rather wide in front. Quality head with wonderful expression, perfect bite, nicely ribbed and coupled. In profile his topline tends to undulate. RBD.

Junior Bitch Entries: 2 Absentees: 1

1st WALTON’S GRAYMOR GENOA
17 months brindle not really enjoying herself. Feminine head of good type but slightly undershot, just enough bone, firmly bodied, could have a little more angulation in front and behind, moves well going away but tends to throw her front about.

Post Graduate Bitch Entries: 1 Absentees: 0
1st HUGHES’ GRAYMOR GLACIAL DAWN
17 months white of excellent size and shape, well moulded head, feminine but typy and perfect bite. Just enough bone, needs to spring in rib a little, well balanced outline with good angles front and back, sound and steady behind but needs to tighten in front and strengthen in pastern as she tends to flick her left front. On her toes and showing so obligingly. When in optimum condition and more settled in front should make up. BOS.

Open Bitch Entries: 1 Absentees: 0

1st HUGHES’ GRAYMOR GALILANI
Amazingly attending her first show at 21 months. Brindle with quality head, perfect bite, carrying plenty of weight, good basic construction and moved quite smartly when she got the hang of it. RBB.

SOUTH EASTERN COUNTIES BULL TERRIER CLUB 08/06/2013
JUDGE AMANDA DANCE (DECADANCE)

I would like to say thank you to the committee of the SECBTC for inviting me to judge their first ever mini classes, it was a great honour, also like to say thank you to all the exhibitors, there were some fantastic quality dogs and bitches entered.

Thank you to Co-judge Steve Paterson (Golitha) it was an easy decision for BIS (Karmara’s Rumour Has It) and RBIS (Bilboen Your Eyes Only) two excellent quality Bull Terriers.

Puppy Bitch/Dog 4 Entries 0 Absentees
1st CHITTY’S SEAQUEST RUDE BOY
10 ½ month Black Brindle & White Dog. This was a very tough decision between 1st and 2nd but this little boy won me over. Beautiful head with wicked expression and well set ears, mouth fault. Lots of bone and substance for a young boy. Good top line, well muscled in front and behind, moved well both ways, my type of mini.   RBD, RBOB, BP
2nd PLUMLEY & WORKMAN’S DEBULLY’S DANNY BOY

BEST IN SHOW CHALLENGE REPORT MR SJ PATERSON (GOLITHA)
MCGREGOR’S MERLINDAN CAPTAIN CHAOS
14 month old black brindle & white dog. Maximum bone for size, good wide head & muzzle, would prefer a tad more in profile, tiny eye and neat well placed ears, good expression, good mouth, strong neck leading to a straight front and cat like feet, short enough coupled and in the box, level topline, rear angulations not his forte, good tail carriage, moved ok coming not so good going. Very well handled. Lost out to the Standards for BIS on his rear angulations.
