Glad to see the breed making so much progress & just hope they can now begin to shrink a bit! The open dog class made my day. It wasn’t so long ago with the males that, apart from one or possibly two, you were scratching around to find anything of remotely CC quality. Today I was faced with a class of eight, any one of which I would have been happy to award a CC, congratulations breeders! Even better, quite a few of them moved true as well, though some who were good coming & going tended to bounce rather in front when viewed from the side. A high proportion of perfect mouths with good size teeth, a few slightly undershot or reverse scissor. All but a few had OK canines, some rather tight.

1st AURMARU HOMEWARD BOUND (MR D J RATCLIFF)
Promising white, rather loose and puppyish as he should be at this stage. Good fill, eye and ears, gentle down face, decent shoulders, well made hindquarters, plenty of bone, moved true in front, a shade close behind, maturity will make a big difference.

Two handsome dogs, if only they had scissor bites
1st LAFENICE JOEY TRIBIANI (MISS  K A  LEWIS)
Typy white, short and compact, super head, filled and turned with a super expression, straight front, powerful well made hindquarters, slightly heavy over the shoulders. Moved true behind with a reasonable stride
2nd GRANDOPERA DIDIER DROGBA OF CALIBER (MR & MRS W & C LAMBERT)
Smart showy brindle, beautifully handled, quality well turned, small well carried ears, straight front, cleaner neck and shoulder line than 1, not so true behind. Difficult decision, lost it by tending to prance in front when going round.

1st AMINIRUMPUS RED PANDA (MR & MISS J & S J KOCABA & WHITE)
Very compact typy red, super head and expression, plenty of bone and substance, powerful hindquarters, good width and depth of chest, moved well in front and a bit choppy behind, tail carried rather high;
2nd LAFENICE TUDOR WITH DUVESSA (MRS D VICKERS)
Brindle with a lot of class, long smooth head, typical expression, super neck and shoulders, straight front, moved true, rather gay tail. Liked both, just preferred 1’s shapelier hindquarters;
3rd WENGORMICK PETITE PIRATE (MRS & MS W & K WHITTAKER)

Truly spoilt for choice!
1st DEBULLY SHOOTING STAR (MR & MRS C & G DOBBIN)
Intensely masculine typy red, caught my eye immediately, not quite so oversize as many but with enormous power, substance and character, beautiful head with wickedest expression, sound front, correct bone, strong well muscled hindquarters, moved true with plenty of swagger. DCC
2nd ZEUS TERISSOT VON AMADIS (MR & MRS A & S HOLBROOK)
Another very attractive red of a slightly different balance, smart, upstanding and showy, slightly more compact than 1, quality head, 1 had a bit more strength in muzzle, clean body lines, very true mover which put him ahead of some other top class males, 1 had a little more drive. RDCC
3rd BULLYON BACK TO THE MEASURE (MR & MRS M B PHILLIPS)
Res AMINIRUMPUS NANOOK BEAR (MR & MISS J & S J KOCABA & WHITE)
VHC MULTI INT CH CANABULL NORTH WIND (ATCAR01347ESP) (MRS T FLETCHER)

1st GLITTER STARS VIS A VIS SEAYESS (MRS C A  STEPHENS)
feminine white with plenty of shape, OK head, good strength of muzzle, gentle profile, true front, good width and depth of chest but a baby, clean neck and topline, true mover, reasonable drive, well trained to show off her charms. BP.

Puppy Bitch Entries 3 Absentees 1

1st MAYBE DUVESSA WHISKY Z MAKDANI (MRS D VICKERS)
Correct size very feminine white, attractive head, good front, moved smartly, a touch close behind. Could be a shade shorter but has a lot of quality
2nd BADLESMERE BETTY BAGPUSS WITH KHLOLANDER (MS M O'NEILL)
Bigger brindle, lovely head with length, turn and fill, neck flows cleanly into a correct topline, true front. Very unruly on the move, never really got into her stride.

Junior Bitch Entries 5 Absentees 2
1st SPITEWINTER MENTO BE (MRS & MISS S L & G L  GOODWIN)
Lovely little white, real Mini of the right size, so feminine all through, pretty head, correct expression from well placed eyes and ears, well balance, smooth body lines, powerful hindquarters, moved soundly. I don’t usually worry too much whether my winners look alike or not but in this case I felt she complemented the CC winner well. RBCC
2nd BADLESMERE BLACK DAHLIA (MR & MRS P & N DRAPER)
Bigger black brindle, plenty of bone and substance, powerful head, small dark eye, correct ears, not quite shoulders of 1. Moved true behind, a touch wide in front. Didn’t really project herself standing but looked better on the move.
3rd DUVESSA NORTHERN SOUL (MR F SILL)

Post Graduate Bitch Entries 4 Absentees 1
1st DUVESSA GAIA (MR A SHIPP)
Another who made more of herself moving than standing, pretty smaller feminine white, attractive head which could have a shade more strength of muzzle, good eyes, enough bone and substance for size, true front, could have a bit more hind angulation.
2nd BADLESMERE BETTY BOO (MR G CARROLL)
Much bigger shapely brindle, leggier type, powerful head, good neck and shoulder lines, moved well in front, rather close behind
3rd WENGORMICK PETITE PANDORA AT BULLYSOUL (MR & MRS S & K KETTLEBOROUGH)

Limit Bitch Entries 6 Absentees 0
Two quality girls of a similar stamp.
1st WENGORMICK PETITE PLAYGIRL (MRS & MS W & K WHITTAKER)
Brindle, not the smallest but liked her a lot, super head with excellent expression and an eye catching profile, well laid shoulders, plenty of neck into a short back, correct front, lots of substance, carried tail rather high, scored on movement coming and going, could well make up
2nd DUVESSA LAST LADY (MRS D VICKERS)
Liked this brindle too, almost as good a head as 1 and loved her piercing eye and wicked expression, again plenty of bone and substance, great showgirl, not quite upper arm of 1 so didn’t move so well in front.
3rd QUAYARDSON LADY DELACOUR AT PHUNSIZE (DR A A BENNETT)
Res KOFYN KAUGHT RED HANDED BY JENKIR (MRS  J HARRISON)
VHC TUSKENADA ANAIS ANAIS WITH TRANSCEND (MISS & MRS J & A PLUMLEY & WYLIE)

Open Bitch Entries 5 Absentees 2
1st BULLRICHS CATCH ME IF YOU CAN (ATCAQ01291DEU) (MR M KASTNER)
Enchanting smaller feminine brindle, classical head in proportion with her size, tiny ears, wickedest eyes, slightly arched neck into super shoulders, ideal front, enough substance, absolutely true coming and going and moved round with a sense of her own importance which she maintained in the big ring where she ended up G4 BCC & BOB
2nd CH KOFYN KANDY KRUSH (MR M PRESLAND)
Much admired this handsome red of tremendous bone and substance, quality power packed head, super neck and shoulders, wonderful ribbing, strode out with style, could be a shade shorter. Bad luck to come up against two feminine charmers who were rather closer to the measure, but she has so much to offer the breed
3rd SEAYESS MISTY NIGHT (MRS C A STEPHENS)
An indepentant site for the UK miniature bull terrier show scene
