My thanks to the exhibitors for turning out on a weekday, it was much appreciated; this appointment was another Covid casualty, swapping with East of England in 2021. Varying shapes and sizes were the order of the day and that included teeth. I asked for a measure as I feel some Minis are creeping up to the size of their larger cousins. Thanks also go to my stewards Maxine and Justine for their invaluable help on the day, keeping everything running along smoothly.

A lovely well balanced tricolour pup at just 6 months old. Such a great make and shape and just the right weight; he's showing much promise. He needs a little more ringcraft to bring out the best in him as he was a bit stop/start on the move but when he did cooperate, he went well once he got going. BP

A very attractive all white youngster rising 13 months. Enjoying his time out he sports a neat package being of correct size, strength in head with plenty of fill, ample bone for his size and neat feet. He is good for topline and tail set & moves well off his muscular quarters. Being picky I would prefer to see him with a tad more length of upper arm.

1st HOWFENBULLS DARK KNIGHT (MR & MRS S & N BATTEL)
At 20 months this solid black brindle lad is shapely, athletic and good for outline. His head is ok for arc, fill and length plus he has a dark eye. Although I'd prefer to see a tad more strength to his pasterns, he stands on neat feet and moves well. Attentive to his hander.
2nd HOWFENBULLS PHANTOM (MR & MRS T & M BUCKLEY)
This black brindle and white lad was up on his toes. He has a pleasing head and ear placement, clean neck and a short back, unfortunately movement was difficult to assess today, not really wanting to cooperate.

1st DANBULL DAINTY DIABLO BY GRANDOPERA (MRS & MRS E & V CLARK & FOX)
Black brindle and white, this young lad caught my eye as soon as he bounced into the ring, full of beans and attitude! This classy male has an exceptional head with a sweeping, unbroken profile with plenty of fill and a piercing eye. Good for shoulder placement and upper arm, strong quarters that have agood, well bent stifle. When he concentrated and paid attention, he moved with ease. All this is topped off with a gleaming, coal black jacket in excellent order. Pleased to award him the CC and interesting to note, I awarded his sire the CC last time I judged the breed. DCC
2nd CH DOFRO STORMBREAKER WARBONNET (MS & MS & MR & MRS V & M & D & C HEARNE & SINGLETON & CATILINA)
What more can I say about this superb lad that I haven't already said, having awarded him his first CC as a pup 4 years ago. He is an excellent example and has breed type in spades plus time has been good to him. I really could have done with 2 CC's to hand out; splitting hairs I just preferred the head profile and coat of 1st today. RDCC

This 11 months solid brindle girl needs drop into her tall frame. She has enough length to her head but would prefer a stronger underjaw. She has a good topline and shapely quarters but is rather upright in shoulder.

White with black eye, this well-proportioned girl has enough work in her head with neat ears, a straight front, good angulation at both ends, a strong topline and moves well.

This brindle and white was very close up to 1st, with a she has strength to her head, good depth of chest, ample bone, neat feet and is in lovely condition.

This white girl comes in a very neat package. She has enough strength and depth to her head although to be picky would prefer her ears a tad closer, she has good length on her clean neck. Straight front, muscular loins and moving well viewed from any angle. Well presented, excellent handling.
2nd JENKIR HEBE (MRS J BOWNES)
Another neat girl this black brindle and white is good for width of skull but would prefer a tad more fill to her muzzle, rather bold in eye. She has a lovely outline, being well balanced all through and has good angulation at both ends.

Correct for size this white girl is very pretty. She has a balanced headpiece, straight front and muscular quarters, she stands on neat feet with strong pasterns.

What a super showgirl, so happy and outgoing this tri has personality plus! She has a cracking head, well filled with an unbroken curve and strong underjaw and what a fabulous expression. She has enough length to her neck, shoulders well back and straight front on. With a strong loin and quarters, she stands foursquare on tight feet and moves so very well. She was very attentive to her handler showing off her many attributes, she's a real "Mini". She looked so good in the Group ring, putting in a grand performance with just as much enthusiasm as first thing in the morning. I could have taken her home, so pleased to award her the BCC BOB.

Litter sister to my Dog CC and has the same attributes. This appealing dark Br/white bitch ticked many boxes for me although slightly larger all round than 1st. She is so well-balanced and has a beautiful feminine head, dark eye, straight front, good for ribbing, shapely quarters. Presented and handled very well, I was happy to award her the RBCC.
