BULLYPINS KLASSIKOS DCC & BOB
Although the numbers were typically low for this show, absentees were light and I was delighted with the overall quality and thank everyone for making the journey. Most tipped the measure to some extent, ranging from very slight to 2” plus, presenting the usual challenge of striking a balance across type, construction and size, with a number of mouth faults adding to the mix.

1st WARBONNET WILLIAM WALLACE (MR & MRS T & A THAIN)

Handsome brindle and white, a strong well-filled head and good expression, with unfortunate mouth fault. Well balanced with a decent front and moving with drive, putting in a good performance for this, his first show.
2nd BADLESMERE BLOWN AWAY AT STEMONE (MRS S NELSON)
Even younger baby of only 6 months. Although not the substance of the winner and a little uncoordinated at this stage, he is shapely and has everything to play for.

BULLYPINS KLASSIKOS (MR & MRS A & M LLEWELLYN)
A corking black brindle and white marking a step-change in breed type. A thumping head, although would like a little more length, which is beautifully arced, oozing width and fill. An unusual mouth: his canines and jaws are correct, although some upper incisors lean inwards. Would like smaller eye. He’s four-square and very shapely, being balanced with a good topline and shoulder, moving well both ways. DCC & BOB
2nd LAFENICE ROSS GELLERT WITH DUVESSA (MRS D VICKERS)
Masculine red and white with a good strong head with incorrect mouth. Not as compact as the winner and would like a little more length of upper arm. Shapely quarters with good bend of stifle, moving well both ways.

1st AMINIRUMPUS NANOOK BEAR (MR & MISS J & S J KOCABA & WHITE)

Imposing all-white with bags of bone and substance. A beautiful head, having arc, width, fill, depth and turn, with a level bite. Well-placed, dark eye and good ear placement present a punishing expression. A decent front, good feet and level topline into shapely quarters moving well both ways. He is a good 2” over the measure, when combined with his tremendous bone, substance and round chest creating the appearance of being larger still. Accepting that ALL dogs in contention were over the measure, size was therefore a matter of degree, with his superior type, masculinity and substance compensating for his extra height. RDCC

1st AMINIRUMPUS RED PANDA (MR & MISS J & S J KOCABA & WHITE)

Masculine red and white with bags of bone and substance. Good ear carriage and expression with a lovely well filled and arced head; mouth a reverse scissor. Tips the measure and would like more length of neck and shorter back, but he has shapely quarters which he drives off, making him one of the better movers on the day.
2nd LAFENICE TUDOR WITH DUVESSA (MRS D VICKERS)
Well balanced brindle and white, with decent head, needing more arc. A perfect mouth, but would like a smaller and darker eye. A good neck and topline moving well both ways.

A demanding class comprising three quality, but entirely different types

1st BULLYON BACK TO THE MEASURE (MR & MRS M B PHILLIPS)
Smart black brindle & white with a good, strong head, just needing a tad more arc. His mouth is correct save for one tight canine. Although a bit lack-lustre in his performance, he has excellent quality, well balanced and moved well both ways.
2nd WENGORMICK PETITE PIRATE (MRS & MS W & K WHITTAKER)
Tough call between 1 and 2. Upstanding white, shapely and well balanced, with greater good bone and substance. Masculine with a strong head, also needing a bit more arc, has a perfect mouth and also moved well. Little between them, with his little extra height just tipping the scales.

1st GRIFFENBULL LADY LUCK (MR & MRS J & K BARR)

Attractive white with strong feminine head and good expression. Reverse scissor bite, although canines correct. Well balanced with good topline in to shapely quarters, although close hocks making her a little disappointing behind.

ZOZO BONSAI VON AMADIS (MR & MRS D MCGREGOR & MRS O BROMMONT-LOTHARY)
Very attractive and well balanced black brindle and white in lovely condition. A good head with arc, width and fill. A good expression marred a little by rather wide-set ears. Good neck, shoulder, front and topline, moving well both ways BCC
2nd
TUSKENADA ANAIS ANAIS WITH TRANSCEND (MISS & MRS J & A PLUMLEY & WYLIE)
Quality white with good shapely, feminine head and perfect mouth - would like smaller eye. When relaxed she displays a rather short foreleg affecting her topline, but hats off to a clever piece of handling, particularly in the line-up, where she was really on her toes, shortening her back nicely to secure the RBCC

SEAYESS MISTY NIGHT (MRS C STEPHENS)

1st WENGORMICK PETITE PLAYGIRL (MRS & MS W & K WHITTAKER)
Very feminine brindle and white very well balanced, with good shoulder and topline – decent head in profile with a perfect mouth, just needing a bit more width. A good front and shapely quarters, moving well both ways.

2nd ANGELS WARRIORS TINY FOREVER (MRS L GLASS)
Quality and typy red and white with a good head in profile, with width and fill, unfortunately one instanding canine. Four-square, she moved well both ways: a close call for top spot, she just needs perk-up to make the most of her strong virtues.
